What Causes Inflammation In Ileum?

I am 43 yrs old, female. I have been diagnosed with AVN, Fibomayagia, Depression, severe migraines, IBS, Idiopathy neuropathy in my lower legs and arms and fingers and toes, I have several bulging disc in my upper back. I was recently treated and hospital stay for an infection in my intestines, that turned in to C-Diff. CT scan showed to hernias and I have had Nessem surgery in the past. I have inflammation in my Ileum and ID specialist says it is seen in auto immune diseases. I have been tested for MS and Lupus and everything seems to lean towards Lupus except for blood test. I have several specialist and I am always having test, but blood work always comes back negative for auto immune disease, some doctors believe I have but no positive test results and no meds started for lupus. My questions is, is all these conditions leading to a auto immune disease and should I be really concerned about the inflammation to ileum? I had a EGD in early February this year, no sign of it and then four weeks ago its there and ID doc was really concerned and was doctors in ER and my hospital doctor. They did not want to do a EGD with stomach in the shape it was in case of stomach perfuration. Gastro will do Nessam again next month. Please help, tired of doctors (no offense) and medications.

I'd like to know how your ileal inflamation was discovered and if you have had an ileo-colonoscopy with ileal biopsies for it done or not. Other examinations are not so reliable, and without important symptoms of an digestive autoimmune disease I don't think you have to concern about. Ileal inflammatory patterns are a corner stone of Crohn's disease, but I repeat that symptoms usually antecipate examination findings, so I'd suggest and recommend not to be concerned about it (you have enough problems of the other systems), at least untill the ileal biopsies are taken and this is not an emmergent indication of course.
I find this answer helpful
