Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have rednish in my skin- feels like I have had allergic reaction to something- no new meds or new foods or new soap or detergent -My eyes burn a bit- last week to 10 days- I drink a lot of sweet tea- I get in the bed and feel itchey-neck looks red-hands, face-like I was in the sun-but have not been in the sun-simply feel bad
By your history and description, possibility of acute allergy is more likely.
In my opinion, we should first subside your symptoms and then search for cause of allergy. So apply mometasone (steroid) cream on lesion.
Take montelukast (anti allergic) and Levocetrizine (antihistamine) combination once a day at night. You will mostly improve with all these in 2-3 days. Get done detailed allergy testing once your symptoms are subside.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar,
Pulmonologist
