What Causes Indentation On Forehead After Having A Cortisone Shot In Shoulder?

I developed an indentation on my forehead. I did not bump it or caused any trauma. The only thing that occurred when I noticed the indentation was I had a cortisone shot in my shoulder that caused me to have a severe flushing reaction on my face. It lasted about two and a half days. I can t imagine this had anything to do with the indentation but it was the only out of the ordinary thing that happened. Should I see a plastic surgeon to correct this? I have no other symptoms.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my surgical experience, the steroid shot in shoulder with history of drug reaction and flushing would not pause an indentation over the scalp or forehead.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
