What Causes Increasing Pain In Chest?

Hello. Every now and again, when I sit straight up, I feel this increasing pain in the left side of my chest. It doesn t happen very often, and it goes away if I go out of the straight up position. Do you know why this happens, and what I can do to prevent it?

Dear Friend, greetings from HCM. This problem could be due to reflux esophagitis , or even hiatus hernia. You need to get an endoscopy of upper GI tract done. Get the openion of GI surgeon.
Meanwhile take Tab. Pan D . every morning half an hour before food. Also mucaine gel syrup after food.
Divide your meal in to 4/5 small parts , take more of green leafy vegetables, oats, fruits, and other fiber rich diet . avoid fast fried and processed food stuff.
Thank you and do contact us for more questions.
