What Causes Increased Appetite And Frequent Bowel Movements?

I rarely get hungry throughout the day and sometimes the thought or sight of food disgusts me to a point where I almost throw up. I also have bowel movements several times in a day even when I hardly eat anything; As a result of not eating and having frequent bowel movements, I often tend to feel fatigued.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I share your concern
Looking at your history this is suggestive of infection like acute gastroenteritis or hepatitis
another possibility is fatty liver or Acid peptic disease like peptic ulcer or gastritis

I would like further information to help you better
your age and complete medical history
whether you smoke or drink??
Since how long you have this problem

In my opinion you should consult your doctor as earlier possible for a battery of test like Liver function test, blood sugar and an ultrasound abdomen
if it doesn't come conclusive you should book an appointment for gastroenterologist for an endoscopy

Meanwhile please follow these guidelines
Avoid smoking and alcohol
Have fresh fruits or fruit juices
You can take small and frequent food as per your preferences
You can take anti emetic drugs like domperidone for nausea and vomiting with anti acidity medicines like pantoprazole or rabeprazole with antacids

Hope this helps you
thanks and regards
