What Causes Incontinence While Suffering From Neuromuscular Disease?

I have a neuromuscular disease which can not be diagnosed. A very bad case of incontinence. What are my chances of treating this incontinence since doctors say that is is inherited from my female parent. So far, can not be treated because type is unknown. 82 years old wheelchair/homebound.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It is due to the weakness of nerves that supply your urinary bladder. If symptoms are severe, it is better to consult a urologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
