I have a son that is now 7. Was suspended from kindergarten 3 times. Very bright, caring, but also very hyper. When he s interested in something, he will zone out completely but if he s not into it.. you end up repeating yourself 10 times. I ve had him tested twice for ADD/ADHD per the schools request and both times have come back he doesn t have it. He s on Chlonidine (very low dose) to cut the hyperactivity but teachers are pressing again for testing. I m just looking for answers. The only weird quirk he has is since birth right before he falls alseep he fidgets with his hands. It s like he s signing or building something. Once he s asleep, it stops. If he is ADD/ADHD I m all for helping him but I ve had two Dr.s tell me he was not it and medicine would not help him. Any advice would be great and thank you. G.
