What Causes Hot Flashes On Sole Of Feet After Scelrotherapy?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query I had scelrotherapy done on my leg about a week and a half ago. I have been wearing compression hose all day and night. I have kept my feet elevated when sitting and I noticed the sole of my left foot sort of has a hot flash. Off and on quickly. I only had superficial veins done. Spider not any big veins. I thought I might not need to elevate my feet anymore. I can be a bit of a worrier.

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read facts of your query and reviewed it in context to your health issues submitted in your query.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query the reply of your query is-
Your current health issues seem to be related to Thrombophelbitis with Sural neuritis.
This is caused by the post-sclerosant chemical inflammation in veins and sural nerve which passes along the long saphenous vein.

Do's-
Continue with Rest and Elevation with Compression hose.
Add-Tab Motrin 400 mg x 2/3 times a day x 1 week
Tab Chymoral forte- 1 x 2/3 times a day x 1 week
Tab Vit B12 + Folic Acid- 1 x 1 to 2 times a dayx 10 days
This would reduce inflammation and the hot flushes in soles from accompanied sural neuritis.

Constant followup with local family or specialist Physician-for long term would give you long remissions in time to come, which would depend on meticulous followup treatment of your health concerns.

Just don't worry and be patient and co-operate with your doctors, till you verify with your attending doctors.
For early recovery-please follow above do's which would resolve your complex health issues.

Hope this would help you to treat your health issues in the best way possible.

Nothing to worry. Some times, after sclerotherapy of varicose veins, there is pooling of blood in the distal part of the body. Here, in your case, it is the sole.I t will disappear with the passage of time.
