Hello,

There are several factors that cause high blood pressure and hot flashes.

In order to answer precisely, first of all, it is better to specify your gender( male/ female).

Detailed Answer: The exact causes of high blood pressure are not known, but several things may play a role, including:
•     Smoking
•     Being overweight or obese
•     Lack of physical activity
•     Too much salt in the diet
•     Too much alcohol consumption (more than 1 to 2 drinks per day)
•     Stress
•     Older age
•     Genetics
•     Family history of high blood pressure
•     Chronic kidney disease
•     Adrenal and thyroid disorders
•     Sleep apnea
•     Hormonal disorders such as menopause etc

The cause of hot flashes isn't known, but it's likely related to several factors. These include changes in reproductive hormones and in thyroid hormones.

I am sure that your doctor has judged your condition and has prescribed good medications for High Blood Pressure.

If these symptoms continue, please see a doctor and check your hormones.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
