What Causes Hoarseness And Difficulty In Speaking While On Candesartan?
I have been on Candesartan 4mg for some time and over the past year have been suffering from hoarseness and have difficulty speaking without having to clear my throat. I have had endoscope examination which didn t show anything. I have heard that Candasartan could be the cause, but haven t discussed this with my GP yet. What do you think?

The hoarseness of voice could be due to a side-effect of candesartan. This drug can lead cough as well in few patient.
So your mild hoarseness could be due to this medicine. However indirect laryngoscopy examination is advisable in your case. You can discuss these with your doctor.
