What Causes High Readings Of S Cretanine?

my father is 66 years old. last november, he had urine infection for which he was hospitalised and sucessfully treated. for the last few days he is feeling lethargic. he was advised to get KFT. today, his S.Cretanine is 4.8. and blood urea 56. urine culture test report is also fine. (He is getting treated for sarcadoisis of lungs (mild not severe) omnacotil 5 mg daily). otherwise he is fine. going to office for half day. why are these readings high.

raising level of this two parameters means that the kidney function is affected. this may be because of urinary tract infection he has. or may be because of the drug omancortil. if your father is taking the drug from prolong period than there should be rise in the s.creatinine. there are two indirect mechanism which causes rise in s.creatinine.
