Hello and welcome to HCM,
A family history of hemochromatosis and high levels of iron in serum is suspicious of hemochromatosis in your daughter also.
Further work up includes genetic study to determine the mutation responsible for hemochromatosis.
Consultation with a hematologist is required and prompt initiation of treatment.
prompt treatment is of utmost importance in order to prevent damage caused by excessive iron deposition in various tissues and organs..

Thanks and take care
