What Causes High Fever, Diarrhea And Bloating?

I don t know where to start... Since Sunday, November 30th I ve been experiencing many different symptoms. On Sunday I felt a pinching pain on the right side of my stomach. I was very painful. I couldn t get up easily. I felt it slowly slide back in and the pain went away immediately. Monday, from the moment I woke up I was puking, I think I had a high fever but was too sick to check. Tuesday I felt fine, Wednesday as well but, miniscule spots of red blood on my morning stool. My afternoon stool a bit more (hemorrhoid?). Thursday puking 100 degree fever. Friday/Saturday non-painful forceful diarrhea, and Sulfer Burps. Sunday until today I m experiencing a bloating/swelling of my stomach none of my pants fit and have to leave them undone. It still feels like a lot of pressure/discofort in my hips and navel areas. From Saturday until Monday night I had no bowl movements. In total I ve had 3 bowls movements (one small bowl movement a day). Today there is an faint ache on the right side of my navel and further down. I felt it previous one of the nights a few days ago. It was light, it kept me awake, my cold hand felt nice on it. It went away and returned this morning when I awoke. finally at dinner it has seemed to stop. Its more annoying than excruciating. During all of this time (Nov 30-Dev10 I ve barely eaten (once a day and once had nothing). Don t feel hungry but try to eat. Food makes the pressure worsen. Trying to drink lots of water. I know that I have a narrowing in my bowl near my appendix. 2 People in my house had gotten sick with diarrhea a couple days prior to me getting sick. What is going on with my body?

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

This all symptoms High fever, diarrhoea, fainting and bloating could be due to dyspepsia, constipation, gastroenteritis,IBS or inflammatory bowel disease, parasitic infestation(giardiasis) etc.

Stomach bloating is caused mainly because of air swallowing known as erophagia.

You should undergo certain blood investigations with urine and stool examination for R/M and ova or ultrasound of abdomen or upper GI scopy if required.

Treatment is mainly depend on the underlying cause but symptomatic treatment can be given.

You may require antibiotics (quinolones, antiprotozoals or amoxycillin derivatives)and anti helminthic (albendazole) with proton pump inhibitors and prebiotics and probiotics.

You must consult your gastroenterologist for detailed medical history and thoroughly clinical examination and get it diagnosed first.

Thanks and Regards,
