General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to health care magic....

According to history yes you are right it could be viral infection, malaria or dengue like condition in which platelets destruction occurs....

You have not mentioned your mpv value

Your giesmsa peripheral smear or card test done for rule out malaria..

For dengue confirmation NS1 testing or
IG M by ELISA testing done ...

Symptomatic management done with more water and fruits more

Papaiya is also beneficial...

Take care

Physician consultation for examination and auscultation and accordingly work up

Hope this will help
