Hi welcome to HCM.
Elevated blood pressure while on antihypertensive drug therapy warrants screening of new onset kidney disease which can directly contribute to elevated or resistant blood pressure.I advise you to have an ultrasound abdomen and MR/Renal Angiography of the renal vessels to rule out renal artery stenosis.Drugs like beta blockers and calcium blockers can be used as add on drugs. In case of documented RAS,lisinopril has to be discontinued.I advise you to have a baseline ecg and 2 dimensional echo of your heart to rule any associated new organic heart disease.Restrict the intake of dietary salt to less than 6 gm/day.Consult your cardiologist for further queries.
Thank you.
