General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Pregnancy may be complicated with high blood pressure and a certain condition called preeclampsia.

Having your blood pressure increased towards the end of the pregnancy or soon after delivery may be due to preeclampsia. On the other hand, if you do not have symptoms, such as headaches, vision changes or abdominal pain, very likely this will subside soon.

The fact that your blood pressure has gone back to 100s is a very good sign and you just need to monitor your blood pressure and your symptoms in the next couple of months.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
