What Causes Heavy Menstrual Bleeding?
I am having really heavy mistral cycles and they are lasting 10-12 days. I am also passing clots larger then a quarter during this time, I will have a heavy cycle for 10-12 days then I will have lite spotting for about 5 days. I have a clear like discharge and having trouble using the restroom (number 2) I have pain in the pelvic area lots of the time and during sex. I have pain also in my lower back I would compare to braxton hicks contractions.

You have symptoms suggestive of pelvic inflammation. It needs a detailed internal examination by gynaecologist followed by needful investigations to confirm the diagnosis like & USG pelvis, deep vaginal swab culture & sensitivity test.
Followed by specific treatment with an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory drugs, vaginal pessaries &good genetic hygiene.
