What Causes Heavy Bleeding, With Clots After Taking Mifepristone?

i had sex with my boyfrnd without any conraception and my periods didnt came i took mifepristone on may 14th and i started bleeding on my second dose...it came out with lots of clots but still it is bleeding i just want to know how long still it will be bleeding...

Hi,

After taking Mifepristone, most women don't have side effects from it, although some women feel nauseated or have vaginal spotting or bleeding. A small percentage of women like less than 5% have heavy bleeding and pass the pregnancy after Mifepristone. Bleeding and spotting are normal side effects of Mifepristone. Continued bleeding for up to 30 days is a possibility. Bleeding may be heavier than a normal heavy period and someone may also pass blood clots and tissue. Tranexamic acid may be a treatment of choice here.
