A bit concerned I just came off a 21 day cycle of the pill, was away on holidays and getting very heavy periods with clotting etc. A couple of days ago I started my period but on the second day I experienced a huge gush of blood, I had only changed my pad appx an hour before. The pad was full of bright red blood and a piece of skin elastic type tissue light pink a bit smelly, almost looked like a piece of balloon when stretched, was not a clot could I have misscarried with knowing about it I'm 44?
