Hi,
There might be multiple reasons for heavy and irregular and painful cycles.
This might be due to approaching
menopause. Growths or tumors of the uterus called uterine fibroids or polyps are also common.
Certain types of birth control—for example, an
intrauterine device (IUD).
Problems related to pregnancy, such as a
miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy, can cause abnormal bleeding.
Hormone disease-related problems, Bleeding-related disorders,
pelvic inflammatory disease, drugs like aspirin and infection are the other causes.
Take NSAIDs for pain and
tranexamic acid for excess bleeding. See your Doctor who will find the cause after a sono scan and few blood investigations.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
