My breast are very tender and painfully achey. I missed my period completely in April and it was put in place by a trip to the ER do to extremely high BP. Then I.5 weeks later I broke into a gran-mal seizure. I still have had slight cramping like I m going to start my cycle...but it don t happen. My pregnancy tests constantly turn out negative. Hi,

Based on your symptoms of heaviness and pressure in the lower abdomen and pain in the breasts, as well as a missed period and negative pregnancy tests, you may be experiencing hormonal imbalances or other health conditions that are affecting your menstrual cycle. It is important to seek medical attention as soon as possible to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms and receive appropriate treatment.

Possible causes of your symptoms include conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which can cause irregular periods, weight gain, and hormonal imbalances. Other potential causes include thyroid disorders, stress, and certain medications. It is also possible that your symptoms may be related to the seizure you experienced, as seizures can sometimes affect hormonal balance and menstrual cycles.

It is important to see a healthcare provider for an evaluation, as they may recommend further testing, such as blood work or imaging studies, to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms. Treatment will depend on the underlying cause and may include medication, lifestyle modifications, or other interventions. It is also important to practice self-care and manage stress levels to support overall health and well-being.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
