What Causes Hearing Of Pulse In Ears In Case Of Hypertension?
Hi, I am a 46 yr old female with a history of high blood pressure and difficultly keeping it in any kind of normal range. Over the last couple weeks I ve been awakened with my pulse loudly pounding in my ears, could my pressure be severely spiking during sleep?

Hello,
It is tinnitus and is quite common with hypertension. Blood pressure has to be controlled.
As of now, you can take drugs like betahistine for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.
