What Causes Headaches And Persistent Chest Pain Upon Taking Acid Reflux Medication?
I have chest pain on my right side kinda behind my right breast since Saturday, right side of my breast is numb. I went to ER chest xray was fine. blood work was fine no clots or infection. taking verapamil 120X2 a day, levothyroxine 100mg. and they gave me pro...xonol for acid reflux. now I have a headache along with my chest pain.
You are taking propranolol. It is not for acid reflux. It is for anxiety. So in my opinion, you should take pantoprazole and levosulpiride, a combination of empty stomach twice daily. It is the best drug for acid reflux. Along with this drug, you should also follow certain lifestyle modifications like avoid hot and spicy food, junk foods. Go for walking after meals. Keep two to three pillows under the head in bed. Avoid stress and tension, be relaxed and calm. Don't worry you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar
