What Causes Headaches Along With Diarrhea?

I had a brain stem stroke 3 years ago. Nerve pain left side, cognitive function and short-term memory are the lasting results. Also am type 2 diabetic and in 1995 had Quad bypass. In late January though Feb I hurt all over. My internal medicine PCP took me off of my statin and the pain went away. Lately headaches I am attributing to either stress or allergies. Yesterday for about 1/2 hour I had a temporal headache on my right side. Today my head hurt all over then and I had diarrhea went back to bed and I was really cold all over, feet arms legs and hands. Even though I had 3 blankets on. I had to get out of bed and put additional long sleeve shirt sweat pants and socks. Went back to sleep and2 hours later now warm and had to remove clothing.h

Hi,

Your last symptoms of diarrhoea, headaches feeling of cold, seem not to be related to your past health issues, in my opinion, a gastrointestinal tract infection (stomach flu for example ) should be considered.

It is necessary to see your primary care Doctor and to discuss with him about these issues. In meantime, measure your body temperature, have a lot of fluids and use Paracetamol.
