I have been sick with cold / flu for the past 2 weeks. Headaches, body aches, low grade temp off an on, no energy, plain feelin yucky. I woke up yesterday morning with what appears to be swelling of the parotid gland on the left side of my face. It is tender to touch. It s about the size of an oblong golf ball. The back of my neck is mildly swollen beneath my skull, and shoulders neck are stiff and sore. My eyes are fuzzy and my head HURTS and pressure in my sinuses on the sides of my nose. Pressure headache behind my eyes. I have no discomfort or swelling inside my mouth, and really not painful to open my mouth. Couldn t be mumps ...right?? I did go feed the homeless 3 weeks ago but other then the stores have not been in contact with anyone appearing to have mumps. UGH
