I recently went on a trip to minnesota and went to the fair on some rides. Shortly after the rides i feel nauseated. Not 2 days later i get frequent urination followed by a sore throat and a severe headache that is just mainly in the front of my head more to the right side. 4 days later my sore throat goes away and i still have a severe headache. At first i took excedrin and it worked now it doesnt work at all. I would like to know if it is something i ate or the rides. I also got bit by alot of mosquitos but that was all week so i dont think it was that. What do you think?
That is why, I would recommend consulting with your attending GP for a physical check up and some tests:
- a sinus X ray study - complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate for inflammation - an urine analysis for infection (considering the frequent urination).
A brain CT scan may be needed.
Meanwhile, I recommend you to closely monitor your blood pressure, because persistent high blood pressure could lead to chronic headache.
