Hi My daughter is 16. She has PCOS and very mild asthma. She has Dianette for the PCOS. For years she has been getting bad headaches that have progressively got worse and now occur daily; she actually wakes up with one every day. Things that make them worse are: walking up and down the stairs, bending over and sometimes laying down. Being in a car on on a bus or sometimes just turning her head. A CT scan 2yrs ago was negative. She was prescribed amtripiline (spelling?) that she reacted to so does not take anything other than Paracetomol or Nurofen. She is studying for A levels and the constant headaches are affecting her work. After looking into her eyes a doctor said there was no sign of pressure. Another doctor has now said it could be pressure and recommends a test similar to a lumbar puncture to check the fluid around the brain etc. Do you think this could be fluid? I am very worried about this especially after reading about the shunts that are fitted to drain this fluid. Other than this one doctor all other doctors have been unconcerned about her headaches due to the negative CT scan. Thank you for your help, it is much appreciated. Kind Regards Lorraine
