I had a very bad headache on the left side of my head yesterday, when I sneezed or coughed it hurt ver y badly. In the morning I woke up w a bloody left eye (further left half of the eye) w tension around the area. When I cleaned my nose there was little blood coming out. I saw blood last night in mucus when I had some drainage as well. I put visine on the eye and relaxing to see if it helps. Could it be blood vessel around the eye bursting due to tension of some sort? If it does not get better and I feel tension on the left side I will see a Dr. Wanted to get your opinion. Thanks,
I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.
Your symptoms might be due to Migraine with aura (eye symptoms) /Temporal (giant cell) arteritis or Hypertensive crisis. I advice you to,
- Detailed EYE & ENT examination by your doctor - Regular BP checkup - tab. Prednisolone for 2-3weeks -To take Analgesics like Naproxen /paracetamol & Triptans -Relaxation & Stretching exercises. -YOGA - Avoid exposure to light, noise etc
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Get well soon.
