Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have headache, sore throat and temporary voice loss which could be due to viral pharyngitis or upper respiratory tract infection. Voice loss is due to infection , which has spread from throat to larynx and cause laryngitis , it could be mainly due to increased susceptibility of your body to get infected due to poor immunity.

I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles or betadine gargles 2-3 times a day and start vitamin C tablet for 10 days. Also apply warm compresses to neck externally . You should take combination of Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen. You should take steam inhalation along with vaporizer.

Keep sipping warm water. Drink hot milk along with pinch of turmeric. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined if symptoms keeps on persisting. Start treatment after proper diagnosis .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
