What Causes Headache, Running Nose, Painful Black Teeth And Swollen Roof Of Mouth?

On Friday I had a pressure headache. On Saturday I had a runny nose & my back teeth started hurting. Today the roof of mouth is swollen and extremely painful. Is this sinus issues or a tooth issue. I've had teeth issues on that side before that were untreated but never involving the whole side of my mouth

Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your complain the symptoms you explained indicates more of Sinusitis as in case of dental infection there can be toothache and the radiation pain can involve the entire jaw,ear as well as head and the roof of mouth at the region of gums of the decayed teeth can be swollen but diffused swelling of the roof of mouth, runny nose and pressure headache are more common signs of the sinus infection..

I would suggest you to consult an ENT expert and get evaluated and in case it is a sinus infection antibiotics to cure the infection and decongestants and antihistamines for relieving congestion and runny nose can help..

In case if dental infection is diagnosed as the cause you will have to consult a dentist and get evaluated and an x ray will help in ruling out the exact cause of infection and help in treatment planning that whether the tooth can be saved by doing root canal treatment and antibiotics or needs extractions..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
