What Causes Headache, Fatigue, Ear Pressure And Increased Heart Beat In A 44-year-old?

Hello. I began feeling badly yesterday. I have a dull headache, fatigue, ear pressure, and some drainage in the back of my throat. I also feel anxious, and my heartbeat all of a sudden increased very quickly a couple of times (sort of like a panic attack). I know the flu has been really bad. I did have a flu shot. I am a 44 year old male.

Common cold if treated properly than will not lead serious health impact. Your palpitation could be from panic attack. Decongestant like levocetrizine can be prescribed for five days. Vitamin C 500 mg BD for five days also beneficial . Otoscopy ear examination, CBC and PNS x ray should be done. According to cause specific treatment. If needed throat swab or ASO titre also can be done. So don't worry and consult otorhinolaryngologist for examination.
