What Causes Headache, Dizziness And Sore Neck After An Injury?

My husband recently fell and has been getting headaches, vertigo, numbness, dizziness and a sore neck. He has had his neck x-rayed and that turned out fine with no breaks or anything. He is scheduled to see a neurologists but we are wondering if a pinched nerve in his neck cause these types of symptoms. Thank you.
