What Causes Headache And Chest Tightness Towards Left Side?
i have been expierencing a headache mostly on/above my left eye and forehead for about 4 to 5 days it tends to weaken as the day progresses but it at its worst when i first wake up and now today i feel a tightness on more of the left hand side of my chest and seems to tighten more when i inhale i have not ate or drank anything unusual or taken any medication aside from 2-200 mg motrin for pain. the chest ain onset gradually but is now constant. should i think of the emergency room or just take otc medication?
Chest pain or tightness that increases with inhalation is suggestive of musculoskeletal or pleural cause..pleura is covering of lung that some time gets inflamed . It respond very well to pain killers that's NSAIDS . for your headache also based on information given by you its very tough to diagnose it but may be because of sinusitis or tension etc. I don't think there is any need to worry right now. This all can be explained by upper respiratory tract infection . And it will resolve by symptomatic management in 4 to 5 days. .I but if symptoms persistent or worsened then definitely it's an indication to visit your physician for expert opinion without any delay..hope tthis will help .
