What Causes Headache After Stopping Pred Forte?

Hello I had an eye irritation and took pred forte for one day and due to extreme headache and rapid heart rate, i had to come off of it after 5 doses taken ea. eye. I was miserable coming down off of the pred forte. Now 6 days later, I have a very easy headache trigger. Will this subside?

Hi,

First of all, the eye drop cannot cause headache or rapid heart rate. You must have an underlying disease, which can cause eye problems, headache and rapid heart rate. So, you should do some investigations such as ECG, CBC, measuring blood pressure and checking your eyes with an ophthalmologist. If all investigations were normal, you need a painkiller for headache.
