Hello and welcome to HCM,

I've gone through your queries and it seems like you've experienced a mild traumatic head injury.

Not to worry , as the bump is already gone and so will be this weird feelings gradually with time (depending on the force of the impact). Please avoid rubbing the area.

The area that you've got hit is having a very rich nerve supply. So even mildest form of impact / hit causes a lot of pain and funny feelings even for a while. Try some gentle cold compression over the area.

Stay at home and avoid any strenuous activities(driving /outdoor games/ handling heavy machinery etc.).

Its been a few weeks already so seems like you're almost out of danger however if you feel the symptoms are worsening or there's any new lump formation then you need to check into your nearest ER and get a MRI-Brain done.

Hello. Thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. This weird feeling in ears and dull headache could be due to

: Head injury - Usually head injury pain subside in 2 to 3 weeks. But some times in case of fracture or severe blow to head, it can cause pain for few months to one year. It usually subside on its own. This type of headache occurs at injury site, more during mental or physical stress, sometimes tender touch.

For relief, you can take painkiller like Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription. Avoid mental and physical stress. You can take antidepressant with painkiller properties like Duloxetine after proper prescription

: Stress headache - This type of headache is one of the most common type of headache. It is dull aching, occurs in forehead, gives band like sensation around head, may give weird sensation in ears/exterimities. It increases during mental or physical stress.

If your symptoms resemble above, you can follow few tips
; Avoid mental or physical stress
; Avoid bright life. Use sunglasses while going in sunlight
; While working on laptop or computer, close eyes after every one hour
; Maintain 8 hours sleep routine
; You can take painkiller like Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription
: Get head and neck massage done

For ears, you can consult ear specialist. He will examine both ears to rule out local pathology. Sometimes wax in ear can cause such problem which can be removed. Hope it will help you.

Thanks. Take care.
