What Causes Headache After A Head Injury?

Hey, i hit my head pretty hard against something at work yesterday. it did bleed quite a bit. And i felt some pain and nausea during that day but nothing more.The bleeding continued hours after it happend, that seemed strange to me. Now (today in the afternoon) i feel alright except for some minor headache. Is there a chance i have minor brain damage or should i see a doctor? The cut on my head is around 5 cm. Should it be stiched or glued or something?

hello
firstly a little dizziness usually occurs after even minor strike to head.the external cut is not so much of a worry as it will heal with time,but I would have recommended a CT scan of brain and expert neurosurgeons opinion
