What Causes Hardness In The Breast While Breastfeeding?

Hello .. my baby is 2months old .. my issue is , during day time my baby asks to be fed for every one hr whereas after evening she sleeps long say 3hrs... so I find my baby s not satisfied in day and my breast s not hard when I feed her .. but wen she sleeps long , I get enuf milk .. so how to come over it in day time ?? how long can I allow my Baby to sleep ?? And s this difference in feeding time is a problem ?? I actually feed whenever my baby needs even 45 min once...

Hi,
Infants should be fed on demand .they may feed 12-18 times everyday.
They also need a good sleep for growing. If your baby is used to sleeping for 3 hours a day no harm let her sleep. It is natural tendency for the breasts to get hard when the baby has not breast fed for 3 hours as lot of milk gets accumalated. This hardness will come down once breast fed.
Since you are exclusively breast feeding on demand , there is no reason that your baby is not satisfied. This is normal.
