What Causes Hardness In Stomach After Eating?

Hello, i have noticed over the past few weeks while i am eating and i swallow my food I can feel it going down and when it gets to my stomach it feels like a hard rock. I know it sounds weird but i thought maybe i was eating to fast or not chewing enough but it is still happening.

Hi
Welcome to health care magic,

Stomach hardness feeling could be due to acute gastritis or gastric ulcer.

It is very likely to have a feeling of rock hard over stomach after improperly chewing or fast

I would advise you to go for routine blood counts, abdominal ultrasound and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy to rule out above possiblites.

Meanwhile, you can take light diet, avoiding fatty and oily foods, antacids like pantoprazole or rabeprazole which will reduce the excess acid secretion in stomach.

Consult gastroenterologist who will examine you and can detect the correct underlying cause.

Thanks.
