What Causes Hard Painful Lump In Neck?

I just discovered a hard painful pea size lump in the area of the inferior belly of omohyoid region (looked it up :) I just had lab work to check my hashimoto syndrome since I had a tennis ball size cyst removed from that side a few years ago. This one is painful... Any thoughts?

I appreciate this chances of lymph node may be likely and second this could be lipoma in either case this is need to be watch for any changes like size and shape and clinical symptoms because this matters only, hope this information helps, take care.
