Hello! Hypothyroidism is a complicated condition that compromises almost all tissues, organs and systems in the body. The skin undergoes changes, and also its annexes(nails and hairs) change. The hair become dry, thin, brittle, difficult to manage and fall out easily. Even body hairs are thin and falls out more. In general in hypothiroidism the hair fall out in all head, which is called diffuse alopecia. May be the hair made the changes before, but now that you are more concentrated on it, you notice the problem largely. The hair problems may improve when the thyroid hormones are replaced.
I hope i have been of help.
