What Causes Hair Loss At Crown Line Along With Severe Itching?

hello, I m a 38 female who s experiencing hair loss at the crown of my head, I m also having itching. There is no fungus or scalp infection. My dermatologist prescribed ADA-5, there is some new growth but the itching continues. He also gave me infections to the areas. It the itching that I can t seem to get rid of. Do you have any recommendation.

Regardless of the diagnosis (the specific disease) that is causing the intolerable itching on your scalp, the fact remains that the sensation
of itching is caused by a natural chemical in your body called as Histamine.
Thus you need an anti histaminic drug. the itching will get lesser and lesser.
I would suggest you follow your dermatologists advice and voice this complaint and symptom, and ask him about anti histaminic medications like
Levocetrizine.

You are quite healthy, by the way, in all other aspects.
