What Causes Groin Pain When Suffering From Fibromyalgia And Osteoporosis?

I have been having pain in my left groin area and Also in left hip and leg. I have fibromyalgia,osteoporosis, osteoarthritis. Yesterday and through the night I had s fever of 101.2. I have no other symptoms. I had a divot behind my right knee in 2001. I have an anti thrombin 3 tendency. So I m worried this could be a blood clot or a hernia. Any thoughts? I am a female 58 yrs of age

Hello,

Pain in the left groin area and fever are not caused by fibromyalgia or osteoporosis. You will need a visit to rule out important causes of these symptoms. If a common self-limited cause is considered (a viral infection) then just taking plenty of fluids and pain killers is the treatment.

As for fibromyalgia and osteoporosis, you can take duloxetine to help with chronic pain and also you will need to see a physiotherapist to help you with exercises that will strengthen the muscles and give more support to the joints.
