What Causes Grinding Noise While Walking With A History Of Hip Replacement Surgery?
My husband had both hips and knees replaced. Hip surgery done over 3 years ago. all of the sudden there is loud grinding noise when he walks. i can hear it very clearly walking next to him. no pain though. what might be causing this sudden noise. in the past you could barely make out some clicking noise but this is different
Usually, the cracking sound originates from the joint space in majority of the cases, however significant amount of noise without any pain is also a dilemma condition.
A thorough clinical examination with an orthopaedic surgeon is warranted here.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
