What Causes Gout And Sour Taste In The Mouth?
I have gout and am having an attack . My taste buds have gone bad . Everything tastes sour. Is there anything I can do to stop this ? I am on allopurinol . Is that causing it ? I feel helpless as my foot is all swelled up and I have been suffering for 6 weeks with what my dr says is a virus and now this . Could it be the Gout is what my dr thought was a virus . It s in my throat an lungs . When I drink and it hits my throat , I cough a coking weird sounding cough. I have never coughed this way . I feel doomed . Is there anything anyone can do to help me ! This could be a viral infection dear which will pass with time so don't worry . regarding gout you should continue the drug but now we have anew alternative febuxostat which is better than allopurinol.
