I am a 62-year-old woman. I have had frequent urination problems for a while but not having a lot of sugar in my diet so I don t think I have diabetes. It is not incontinence but just need to pee frequently even during the day. At night I sleep and wake up every two hours to Pee.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are different possible causes for urinary frequency. The most common causes are:(1) diabetes,
(2)infection,
(3)excess oral intake,
(4)diabetes insipidus (lack of a particular hormone that normally tells the body to retain fluids, tells the kidneys not to let out too much)
(5)prolapse bladder
(6)urinary stones

It would be best for you to be seen by your doctor. This would involve a history of all related symptoms and physical examination.
A urine analysis in the office would be needed and your doctor may want to send a sample to the lab.
Blood tests to make sure that it isn't diabetes or infection may be needed

You may also need a 24 hr input/output chart. This means charting all the fluids that you use and also all the urine that you pass in a 24 hour period.

I hope this helps
