Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been on Lexapro since December 2016...after a time with Panic and Anxiety. My Dr. determined that Lexapro was the most appropriate drug after genetic testing. All seems significantly better. The one issue is urine leakage which was never a problem for me, Saw my GYN in November and not having that problem. Within 3 weeks have developed leakage and frequent urination during the day....I plan on calling My gyn as there is a urologist who specializes in this problem....what are your thoughts
hi thnks for choosing hcm i understand your concern In your case my opinion is that it is not the drug which is causing your urination problem rather there may be another reason for this. try to figure out other causes of your symptoms like urinary tract infection, urtheral stricture, detrusor instability etc. An ultrasound examination of bladder with prevoid and postvoid residual urine measurement would be helpful in differentiating these diseases. Consulting with the urologist would be beneficial for sure. I hope i answered your querry in detail, if you consider it helpful then do give five star feedback. Get well soon :)
