Hello,
First, try to avoid anal sex if possible to prevent further bowel problems.
When you are sexually active, women are more prone to urinary and
genital infection.
So, should get a few lab tests done to determine the right diagnosis before going to see a specialist:
- complete blood count
- urine analysis
- vaginal swab testing (should avoid sex 3 days prior to testing)
- fecal analysis and examination for ova/parasites to understand why these problems with bowel movement (bm)
- stool culture and sensitivity testing.
Until you get the results should:
- keep good genital hygiene
- increase water intake especially with oral rehydration salts to keep well hydrated
- take probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora
- take
Pepto Bismol for diarrhea
- have frequent and small portions meals. For a few days follow
BRAT diet (banana, rice, applesauce, toast) until diarrhea is over.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
