Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My brother-in-law feels weak in the day time and better during the night. He has frequent urination and bowel movement problems. His hands shake and now uses a walker. One doctor said maybe Parkinson but another said it s not. He is in his early 70 s and has drastic weight loss. Thank you.
Hello and thank you for your query I dont think this is related to Parkinsons and this is more likely some urinary or hormonal issue such as urinary infection, prostate inflammation or diabetes. He should do urine analysis and check blood sugar for a start and then further steps can be done. Weight loss is also concerning symptoms and more detailed work up is required. parkinsons would have some other signs and symptoms... Wish you good health. Regards
