What Causes Frequent Soreness In Stomach And Flatulence?

Often get sore stomach accompanied by lots of flatulence. However, most of the time the flatulence doesn t smell. The annoying part is it can last for a long time (1hr+), and my stomach is usually gurgling and such. It s unclear what food sets this off I avoid all dairy (lactose intolerant), and carbonated beverages. Thoughts?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear, I really appreciate your concern. Flatulence is commonly caused due to indigestion, excessive swallowed air and continuous use of certain medications. It is normal to pass gas from 6 to 20 times per day. To reduce the frequency of flatus you can observe and find the food which lead to increase flatulence in your case. As different person has different triggering foods. For stomach gurgling and indigestion you can try over-the-counter antacids. It will help you reduce flatulence. Walk for at least 15-20 minutes after meals to help promote digestion.
Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care.
Thank you.
