What Causes Crawling Sensation Around Anus?

I have been experiencing a crawling sensation in and around my anus, and an excessive amount of flatulence at times. I eat fnnel seeds which help with the flatulence. But even though I use personal wipes after defecating I still experience the crawling sensation. What could be the cause or causes?

Hi thanks for asking question.
Here i Want to advise you to do your CBC to rule out eosinophilia.
The cause may be thread worm parasitic infection(enterobius parasite). If it is present albendazole can be given or Empirical therapy for it can be taken.
Try to avoid gas forming food like onion, cabbage, cauliflower etc.
Drink more water.
Avoid spicy food.
Green leafy vegetables taken more.
Avoid excessive tea,coffe.
I hope this might help you.
thanks.
